Publishing Internship

My colleague, Prof. Debra Bronstein, recently attended a Red Hen Press meeting.  She reported the following:

"Red Hen Press. . . .spoke about internships and . . . . they seemed very interested in having some of our strong students apply (they are currently looking for more interns). Students would rotate through 3 areas of publishing: editorial, design and marketing, so they could get a feel for the profession. Many of their previous interns went on to get jobs at Red Hen Press or elsewhere in marketing for the arts. It would be a great stepping stone for many of our students, either the ones who are returning to the Pasadena area after graduating from their transfer institutions or for those currently enrolled at PCC who are thinking about alternative professions for English majors."
